Best Dagger Duchess Decks for New Clash Royale Challenge

Dagger Duchess Challenge decks

The Dagger Duchess is finally here in the new Clash Royale Season 58, bringing a whole new mechanic to the table (or should I say, tower?).

This legendary tower troop throws a bunch of daggers initially, then needs to recharge before releasing another burst.

Dagger Duchess Stats

  • HP: 3204 (beefier than Cannoneer and Princess)
  • Damage: 153 (higher initial burst than others)
  • Recharge Time: Takes a while around 1.25sec to refill her dagger stash
  • Targets: Can target both ground and air troops

What Makes Dagger Duchess Different?

  • Burst Damage: Duchess wrecks low-HP troops and tanks with her initial dagger flurry.
  • Weakness to Swarms: Once she’s out of daggers, she struggles against large groups.
  • Matchup Dependent: She shines against chip damage decks but struggles against heavy pushes.

Dagger Duchess vs. Other Tower Troops

  • Canoneer: Outshines Duchess after 7 seconds of continuous attack.
  • Princess Tower: Takes the lead after 20 seconds of attacking.
  • Duchess Advantage: Melts single-target threats and deals more damage upfront.

Dagger Duchess: Best Decks Collection

Log Bait Rocket

  • Miner: Surprise chip damage and tank for support troops.
  • Goblin Barrel: Fast pressure and spell bait for Duchess.
  • Log/Zap: Clear out swarms and reset Inferno threats.
  • Rocket: High-damage finisher for tanks or clumped enemies.
  • Knight: Solid defense against pushes and redirects troops for offense.
  • Archers: Ranged support for defense and chip damage.
  • Princess: Long-range attacker to complement Duchess’s short range.
  • Bats: Cheap cycle card and swarm defense for Duchess.

Pekka Bridge Spam

  • Pekka: High HP tank to absorb enemy pushes and spearhead counter-attacks.
  • Battle Ram: Fast lane pressure and tank for support troops.
  • Poison: Slow enemy pushes and deal damage over time.
  • Electro Wizard: Reset Inferno threats and provide splash damage.
  • Zappies: Cheap cycle card and swarm/building distraction for Pekka.
  • Knight: Alternative high HP tank option with good damage.
  • Bowler: Pull enemies towards Pekka and disrupt enemy pushes.
  • Minions: Air support for defense and chip damage.

Mega Knight and Royal Giant

  • Royal Giant: Your main win condition. Use it to deal high damage to towers.
  • Knight: A versatile support/defesnive troop. Use it to tank for your Royal Giant against enemy defenses like Mini Pekka, Pekka, or Inferno Tower.
  • Mega Knight: Secondary win condition and a powerful defensive troop. Can be used to absorb damage aimed at your Royal Giant.
  • Fire Spirit: A cheap cycle card used for chip damage on towers and distracting enemy troops.
  • Arrows: Save it to clear swarms like Goblin Gang, Minion Horde, or Bats that attack your Royal Giant.
  • Log: Primarily used to counter Goblin Barrel, Princess, Firecracker, or Skeletons.
  • Skeletons: A very cheap cycle card, effective against Bandit or Prince.

These are just a couple of suggestions, for creating your own Dagger Duchess deck, and there is tons of room for experimentation!
